This deposit reserves a Fall 2024 1/4 Ground beef share. The meat will be ready for your freezer in the first week of November.
Total Investment estimate which INCLUDES the processing fees will be:
Sold by the hanging weight at 180 lbs X $4.50 per pound =$810 to Almost A Cattle Company and INCLUDES the processing fees.
(Take home packaged meat in the case of an all ground beef share will average 50-60% of the hanging weight. Approximately 100 pounds of ground beef)
Final price per lb for packaged ground meat in 1.5 lb packages will average $8.10

When we offer a Ground Beef Share, it is generally because it is time to cull a more mature animal from our breeding program.
As you well know, I am passionately committed to honoring our livestock through on-farm harvest so that they may enjoy the fresh air and the grasses of the Willamette Valley in a very low stress environment from their first moments of life to their last. That weighs especially true for the animals that have been a part of our breeding program for quite some time.

If ¼ share is too much, consider splitting the purchase with a friend or family member.
Almost A Cattle Company requires a non-refundable deposit to reserve your beef. The deposit goes towards your order total and the remaining balance will be paid to Almost A Cattle Company prior to picking up your meat from the processor.
